Our restaurant offers a variety of unique, exciting, and sometimes surprising cuisine prepared by volunteers from various countries who respond to the call of “Come together the travelers from all over the world who love to cook!”

We are serving in a buffet style so that you can help yourself just the right amount of what you would like to eat, and the price is left up to you. You will pay by putting the amount of money that you think it’s fair into a “Fair box” placed at the exit of the restaurant by yourself. （We don’t check how much you paid）

We also cater to vegan, vegetarian, Taiwanese-vegan and people who have food restrictions, and we would love to satisfy your request as much as we can.
Harrapa café is also a place to attempt a social experiment to see what happens when we aim to maximize the happiness of both the people cooking in the kitchen and the customers who eat the food.

Even if the volunteers are amateurs (seldomly chefs from starred restaurants), they truly love cooking. Come and actually experience how delicious and exciting the food here can be!!

We welcome those with
dietary restrictions

At Harappa Café, we prepare each of the following dishes: vegan, which is a vegetable-based dish that contains no animal products; vegetarian, which allows dairy products and even eggs; and also meat, fish, and foods which include fish broth.

We also caters to Taiwanese vegetarians who have removed not only meat and fish, but also garlic, onions, chives, leeks, and rakkyo (five pungent roots).

(We can prepare it for you if you let us know in advance, or if you have time to wait, we can cook it for you when you arrive.)

Especially, for people who wish to have gluten-free meals or have allergy to some other ingredient, please contact to us via call or email beforehand. We will do our best to fulfill your needs as much as possible.
